The RoccaRanne hotel, placed in the heart of the little center of Montefranco, is composed by two separate blocks which, developing on four levels, are parts of an ancient building completely recovered in his original style. Now it offers fifty beds which will be increased in next season in consequence of the complete reorganization of the hotel. It is composed by suites, double and single spacious and comfortable rooms; you are equipped with tv, phone, bathroom and autonomous heating. From the innumerable windows it is possible to enjoy a wonderful panoramic sight of the green Umbrian valley. At the flat earth, the restaurant has an inside room and for the hottest periods of the year a little square, where you can merrily have the first meal of the day and romantic dinners under the starry sky.
The green Umbrian valley in which the Roccaranne hotel is placed offers many holiday chances: for the sport and the spare time, are present plants for the winter skiing, for skating, bungee jumping and horse trekking. There are numerous ways for trekking, mountain bike, climbing, canoe, rafting, torrentismo and hydro speed. You can furthermore easily make excursions along the Nera river, to the Marmore waterfall and at the Piediluco Lake. Several paths are present in the neighbouring mountains Polino, Pelosa, Solenne and Petano.
But one has to consider the big cultural and historical heritage which Umbria offer. At every moment of the year the towns are easily reachable: Spoleto, Perugia, Todi, Norcia, Cascia, Terni, Ferentillo and Marmore waterfall.
